a two-week’s shawl
What is pale purple, six feet long, and ate up two weeks of my life? RHETORICAL.
The day before the party I was knitting lace (7,000-some stitches! that day!) and binding off and dying it and blocking it out and … it was morning. Fixed a wee dropped stitch (whoops) with a bit of darning, ran outside in the drizzle for photographs, wrapped up everything, and ran out the door.
I kinda like it.
