i didn’t know it was possible
… but apparently, when your knitting looks like this
(242 stitches marked in intervals of 10, plus two for the center)
it is possible to run out of stitch markers.
well, that’s why my knitting bag has safety-pins and interchangeable-needle-tightener-things (and it’s good to see the durn needle-tightener-things used for something; they’re sure not around when it’s time to tighten up a loose needle)
and it’s just going to keep growing.
i might need buy some paper clips …

Now that I know how to knit, I can totally understand you because I finally know what stitch markers are for. I can’t wait tos ee WHY you need so many!
